Florida Farm Bureau Federation
Headquartered in Gainesville, the 143,000-member Florida Farm Bureau Federation is the largest independent agricultural association in the Sunshine State. Founded more than 60 years ago, it is guided by a Board of Directors, made up of active farmers from all regions of the state. It is a federation of 62 county Farm Bureaus. When members join a county Farm Bureau, that membership also makes them members of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and the American Farm Bureau Federation.

Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services

The mission of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is to safeguard the public and support Florida's agricultural economy by: ensuring the safety and wholesomeness of food and other consumer products through inspection and testing programs; protecting consumers from unfair and deceptive business practices and providing consumer information; assisting Florida’s farmers and agricultural industries with the production and promotion of agricultural products; and conserving and protecting the state’s agricultural and natural resources by reducing wildfires, promoting environmentally safe agricultural practices, and managing public lands.

Division of Marketing and Development

The Division of Marketing and Development, part of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, provides foreign and domestic marketing services to Florida agricultural producers, processors, shippers, wholesalers and retailers. This assistance is designed to increase their profitability and to supply quality agricultural products to consumers at reasonable prices. The division operates the following bureaus: Florida Agricultural Statistics Service; Development and Information; Education and Communication; Food Distribution; License and Bond; Seafood and Aquaculture Marketing; State Farmers’ Markets.

American Farm Bureau

The American Farm Bureau has more than 5 million members and is in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. It is a voluntary organization of member families joining together to solve common problems. The American Farm Bureau represents America’s farmers and ranchers on the local, state, national and international levels. Its mission is to implement policies developed by members and provide programs that will improve the financial well being and quality of life for farmers and ranchers.
